Social media is an important way to reach out to consumers, so it is vital companies know how to properly utilize their time and resources. This audit will show the statistics of engagement in the past 2 weeks of social media platforms X and Facebook. There will also be critique and advice given on how to improve engagement and overall opinion on the data collected.

In the past 2 weeks, there were not a lot of interactions on the PR Daily Facebook page. The most popular post had 15 likes and 2 shares. The post was and ad and had celebrity Selena Gomez on the cover. In order to cater for Facebooks target audience, I recommend PR Daily to create posts specifically for adults. Creating content that parents would like and click on. For having 105k followers, there is not a lot of interaction on the page. I would recommend posting more quality content that grabs viewers attention.

In the past 2 weeks, there were not a lot of interactions on the PR Daily X page, yet still had more interactions than Facebook. The most popular post had 18 likes, and 12 retweets. The post was about Alexa Heinrich providing incite about creating content. In order to cater for X target audience, I recommend PR Daily to create posts specifically for teens and early adults. Creating content that has more humor to it. A lot of teens use X and share funny posts. For having 113.3k followers, there is not a lot of interaction on the posts. I would recommend pushing out less quantity and focus more on the quality of the posts. Teens are not going to like a post if it isn’t super interesting or funny that they want to share.

Overall, PR Daily is lacking a positive social media presence. Over the past 2 weeks, X and Facebook have shown minimal interactions with the posts they have created. I feel it is important for PR Daily to start to advertise using popular apps such as Instagram and TikTok in order to reach a larger audience. I believe it would be good to post for a younger target audience that would bring in more viewers. The posts on each media that got the most likes were posts that included young and popular celebrities. I feel it would be a good idea to make more posts involving celebrity drama and gossip since that’s what viewers want to see.
